They have done a nice job with the boardwalk with many sculptures made of bronze, stone and even amazingly some made of sand. It is a very pleasant walk.
Outside of the centre of town is a long beach that has resorts and towers filled with condos. This is for tourists that want a beach vacation with all the amenities and not what we are really looking for.
On the way back to Sayulita, we drive through Punta Mita with its gated luxury resorts and spas. The condos here start at $250,000 US and there is a villa for sale at $8.5 million. We take the mountain road back to Sayulita in the dark and go through a small community called Tranquilla which might be worth exploring.
Great blogging! Fun to follow.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed "visiting" Puerto Vallarta
while we stayed in Bucerias. We really enjoyed that little community - went a couple of times while living in Vancouver.Nice small town feel with lots of wonderful hidden gem restaurants.
I leave for Toronto on wed and then on to Thailand
